Last dream question for me.?

I had these dreams over the summer about this guy that was supposedly a boyfriend, or just a love interest. I had them almost nightly unless a big event occurred. I had never seen the guy before, so it freaked me out, and the dreams seemed so realistic. It wasn't exactly the same dream every night, sometimes my sneakers would be a different color (they were the only things of mine I could see), he would be wearing a different shirt (we were always sitting across from each other), and we would be in one of the two places (an airport, or on a bus) I only told one person about it, and she said that maybe I had seen him somewhere so I thought that maybe I had seen him at the library, or a store in town. When I got to school this year, I saw him in the guidance office, and I bolted out and called my friend to tell her that he goes to my school, so she said that it's very possible I had seen him somewhere, but I know for certain I never really acknowledged him. But if I had, seen him somewhere, why would he be the one in my dream, instead of someone i was interested in, what do the different places mean(both connected with travel)?
