What are the benefits to being single for the rest of one's life?

This might sound crazy but I think you're me in the future. I'm 22 right now and am in a STRIKINGLY SIMILAR situation. The big benefit I see is $$$$$$ but I would much much much rather have a girlfriend than staying single. Ask your friends to set you up on a date with someone or talk to your coworkers. I'm doing the same thing here but its a work in progress and hopefully one day we both will be lucky.
