My Prologue, What Do You Think?

Far too many descriptive words; it might sound poetic to you as you're writing it but it's boring to read. You should be encouraging the reader's imagination, giving them an idea of the surroundings/feelings/characters etc and letting them fill in the gaps themselves, rather than insisting on a list of similes.
