Will cesearian overhang always be there even if i lose weight?

I had an emergency c section six days ago and i have about a stone to lose. I was stitched up all unevenly because it was an emergency. Today i notice my belly overhangs over the scar so i looked it up online and loads of women say that it doest go away no matter how much weight you lose will the skin always overhang over the scar? Even if i diet?
