What is it about Bruce Lee?
He was an actor, a fighter, a writer, and a family man. I happen to like the right lead -dominant style. Many of his students were, or are, great guys and great sifu. I do not believe that he would have beaten Mas Oyama, Kimura, Ch'ang, Yamaguchi, Matsumura, or many other masters. It is possible he lost fights in his life, although I don't believe the standard contrarian line that he lost to Wong Jak Man. He was not a perfect person, and he was not a world champion. Does someone have to be perfect to start an art? Some guys seem to worship Bruce as a demigod, and others think he could not take your granny. Seems to me people who like jkd can study it; people who dislike jkd can ignore it. Why is so much energy expended to defame a dead man?
