How can I get a dog used to me/like me?

I am at my aunt and uncle's house for a week and my cousin has a big black lab named Dixie. Well every time I go into a room or walk she runs at me and barks loudly as well as growls. My aunt and uncle have told me to rub behind her ears and rub her paws between her toes. I have even gave her food with permission of course, I have gave her dog treats and rubbed behind her ears. I even rubbed between her toes for several minutes last night. I am not afraid of her, I am just so tired of her barking at me. Can someone please give me some advice, this is the second day that I have been here, I want her to stop barking and growling at me as soon as possible.
