How do I get my PC to copy Resident Evil 5 Files?

I have a Gateway GT4010 media computer and Resident Evil 5. The 2 are not getting along. I install the game and that works fine but when its time for the PC to copy the files, it stops midway through the process. Please help, I've done research and got nowhere
