Family Problems?

My parents got divorced when I was about 10. I have lived with each of them on and off. I have been living with my dad for a few years now and his new wife. When my dad gets mad he explodes like tonight. My brother who moved out due to my stepmom is now living with my mom. I called her to say hey and everything and she asked to talk to my dad. I didn't think he would want to talk to her but I gave him my phone anyway. He got angry because my mom wanted him to tell my brother wether or not he would send him money for community college or if hes going to cut him off. My dad threw my phone on the ground and yelled dont ever give me that phone again. All I said was what am I supposed to do then (reffering to when my mom wants to talk to him) he said just say no. I think it was rude of him. He chose this life and he doesnt want to face it. Thats how he's always been. Lol my mom even said that anyway what should i do? idk w/e advice you could give would be great thanks
